Postdocs

Welcome to the Postdocs page!

In addition to cutting-edge research, your postdoctoral training is an important time to gain new skills and prepare to launch your future career.  Whether you have a clear career goal, have multiple interests, or are unsure how to get started, CAPD is ready to support you.  Connect with CAPD for individual advising, attend workshops and career events, and explore resources to help you learn about and prepare for opportunities across academia, industry, government, non-profits, and more.

CAPD serves all MIT-appointed scholars (fellows and associates). You have access to a Handshake account, which is the career management system used by CAPD. You can use Handshake to schedule appointments and register for CAPD events.  In addition, you can use Handshake to find job openings posted by employers recruiting MIT students and postdocs, as well as find and register for employer-sponsored information sessions and events.

Take a look below for more information on career services for postdocs – we look forward to connecting with you!
