The scope of each placement is designed to promote team building, develop personal skills and technical skillset. You will receive guidance and career advice along the way. You will also participate in various different workshops specifically designed to assist you in building the critical skills needed in the workplace.

Veranova is seeking a motivated undergraduate with an interest in analytical chemistry to join us. This program consists of a 10–12-week internship at our Devens, MA location.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Segregation of GMP and Non-GMP samples with minimal guidance.
- Archival and organization of metrology related documents.
- Participate in daily lab walks and prepare proper list for areas of improvement in terms safety.
- Monitor daily logbook entries for all chemists and ensure online entries were made.
- At the end of this project, the intern will present their work to the wider team and document the findings in a formal report.
Qualifications
- Current graduate student working towards their Master’s or PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science or a related field.
- Minimum Overall GPA of 2.7 required
- Broad knowledge of separation methods and chromatography. Ideally, hands-on experience with chromatography is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of cGMP requirements in analytical laboratory.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a true career aspiration to be a leader
- Must be adaptable, strive for excellence, and demonstrate a positive attitude in the face of adversity
- Strong interpersonal skills a must, coupled with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships to achieve results
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills essential
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
