Position Overview:
· New product development of high and low voltage connectors and terminals in vehicles;
· New product development of electronic devices and modules in vehicles, including sensors, relays, smart electric boxes, etc;
· Technical support on nonmetallic materials and molding process in product development;
· Technical support on metal materials and stamping process in product development;
· Simulation on mechanical electrical thermal properties manufacturing processes and application reliability of products;
· Data collection sorting and analysis in product development
· Work location: Shanghai, Suzhou.
Qualifications:
· Graduate or undergraduate students;
· Academic background:
o Mechanical and related engineering majors
o Electronic, electric, automatic and related engineering majors
o Electric engineering, with experience of high voltage and arcing
o Material engineering and related majors.
· Good skills on some of the following engineering tools:
o Mechanics: Creo, CATIA, AutoCAD
o Electronics: Altium Designer, a circuit simulation tool, or a MCU IDE tool
o Software: C language with embedded program experience
o Simulation: Ansys, etc.
o Fluent in English reading and writing;
· Good communication skill;
· Good teamwork and willing to make contribution to team.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze customer requirements and evaluate technical feasibility;
· Work out product solutions and get alignment with customers and cross-function teams;
· Following development procedures of vehicle products deliver drawings, specifications. etc;
· Complete simulation of product performance, manufacturing process and application reliability;
· Lead sample preparation and test, analyze and judge test results;
· Analyze failures in test or application, and complete improvement accordingly;
· Build database of metal and nonmetal materials, and recommend materials to new product development;
· Provide material technical support on molding, stamping, plating, sealing and other processes;
· Collect and analyze data generated in product development with engineering software tools, to guide new product development and process improvement;
· Continuously reduce product cost with improvement of product design, materials and processes.
