Role Overview:
As a Product Design Intern, you learn how to define and design every aspect of the customer journey for our products. You help design solutions for our service professionals (our Pros) to grow their small businesses and find delight in a software system that meets their needs. You are comfortable working on a tight-knit team, inspired by driving excellent, well-crafted experiences. You are curious, innovative, and work to develop world-class results. You bring an analytical mind to constantly improve the efficiency and efficacy of our products.

What you do each day:
- Work with product design professionals to develop business acumen and functional knowledge of product design
- Participate in weekly meetings and networking events with the team
- Use Figma design software and work in web, iOS, and Android systems
- Collaborate with the design team to develop flow charts, wireframes, and high-fidelity mocks
- Seek input and feedback from the design team to learn and grow
- Recommend solutions to product design that help drive excellence and effectiveness
- Assemble final presentation and engineering deliverables as needed
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate student (expected graduation date December 2022 or May 2023) studying Product Design, Applied Visual Arts, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of user experience and design fundamentals with a passion for learning about UX/UI design
- Experience with Figma is preferred
- Compelling portfolio of design work

HCP Internship Program Details:
Interns will be paired with industry professionals and mentors and will be given opportunities to stretch their skills and enrich their knowledge base to achieve a greater understanding within this space. Our goal with this program is to have the opportunity for a full-time offer after graduation!
The HCP Internship Program will provide an exceptional experience centered around inclusion, collaboration and growth. Interns will participate in various activities during their time with HCP. Some of these activities include:
- Formal onboarding event to ensure integration to the organization and program.
- A one-on-one mentorship with a leader for the duration of the program, as well as an Experience Mentor to ensure success.
- Participation in LetsGrow, a peer-to-peer learning program where participants can reflect on their purpose and experience fulfilling growth.
- A celebration for all interns at the end of their internship!
This internship will begin on June 5th and end on August 16th, 2024. You will work 40 hours per week fully-remote.

Location Dependent Information
This role is open to candidates inside and outside of Colorado and the expected compensation range for this role is $20-$25/hour. The specific hourly rate for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
