Engineer: Design and Manufacturing
Product engineers work directly with the customers to develop job drawings and help customers solve problems. New product development is also always happening concurrently. Previous experience in sales or working with custom kitchen designers, architects and/or interior designers is a plus. Advanced computer skills in CAD, AutoCad and Solidworks are required.

Job Status: Full-Time
Work in a beautiful rural setting, a lite-traffic commute to Germansville, PA right here in the Lehigh Valley. This is not a remote or virtual WFH position.
Compensation: Based on your capability and contribution $60-$95K

Grothouse is seeking a motivated Engineer to join our family, someone who takes pride in their work no matter the task, and looks for solutions, not excuses. We seek someone who can work with both our customers and our team to drive projects to completion.
Key accountabilities and requirements include:
- Microsoft Office experience- Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Basic or Advanced 3D CAD/CAM experience
- Advanced understanding of drawings, drafting
- Strong communication skills both with customers and coworkers about project details
- Experience developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods
- The ability to identify needs and efficiency improvements of production to maintain and improve quality and process improvement
- Developing and documenting standard operating procedures
We will train you, but basic skills and understanding in 3D parametric CAD such as Solidworks or Inventor are key. Experience in Mastercam or other machining software or experience in CNC machining are major pluses. Experience in countertops, woodworking and/or home décor are also a plus but not required. Willingness to learn and dedication are the most important traits.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
