Responsibilities:
As a Consultant at FW Cook, you will gain valuable consulting experience at a firm that is the leader in its field, helping companies solve critical issues related to their people strategy. On a day-to-day basis, you will partner with our experienced consultants, and you will be expected to:
- Conduct compensation, financial, and performance research and analysis using publicly disclosed SEC filings, proprietary databases, and other sources
- Develop strategic recommendations and insights to help our clients drive their business objectives
- Prepare charts, tables, and client presentations summarizing key findings, conclusions, and recommendations
- Participate in client calls and meetings and assist with presentations to board members and top executives
- Contribute to our firm-wide development efforts, including recruiting, mentoring, training, and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; all majors considered. Concentration in finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, or economics preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong work ethic and a service-oriented mentality
- High moral character, integrity, and adherence to the highest business ethics standards
Compensation:
- Base salary of $85,500 with competitive bonus eligibility
