Consultant: Executive Compensation – Entry Level (Boston)
Job Description:
We are looking to expand our Boston office (opened in July 2013) – the entry-level consultant will be part of a small, fast-growing local team in a nationally-recognized and well-established consultancy. This position will be a valued member of project teams both locally and across nationwide offices, participating in analysis, report writing, and client communications.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comparative analysis of executive and director pay, financial performance, incentive plan practice and design, among other topics using publicly disclosed filings, proprietary databases, and other sources
- Draft and revise client reports, including designing charts and tables, summarizing findings, and formulating recommendations
- Collaborate with project teams on creative and strategic brainstorming to address client issues
- Participate in client calls and meetings with board members and executives; help facilitate client relationship and interactions
- Contribute to our firm-wide development efforts, including recruiting, mentoring, training, and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications:
- BA or BS with demonstrated academic excellence
- High moral character, integrity, and adherence to the highest business ethics standards
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to transition easily into working independently as well
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines while remaining organized
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Solid work ethic and a service-oriented, agile mentality
- Preferable, not required: Background in quantitative analytics, statistics, and/or accounting
- Preferable, not required: MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
