The Advancement intern will assist the Senior Data Analyst with biographical data review and clean-up projects to ensure data quality in our Salesforce CRM.
Location: Hybrid (Atlanta, GA) Headquaters
- Work 20-37.5 hours/week summer semester.
- Be responsible for his or her assigned work schedule and report to the internship site at the agreed upon time(s).
- Meet with the Internship Liaison on a weekly basis to discuss project progress and internship goals.
- Follow the CDC Foundation policies and procedures regarding dress code and professional behavior.
- Inform the Internship Liaison of any problems that might occur in a timely and reasonable manner, including concerns regarding the lack of substantive work assignments.
- Supply relevant forms and evaluations to the Internship Liaison to be completed and follow up to ensure timely submission.
- Prospect Research Wealth Screening Validation and Organization.
- Creating Profiles and Biographies of Individuals or Organizational Prospects and Donors through compiled online research.

- Supporting email salutation review
- Affiliation review and clean-up, including awardee inventory
- Seeking a degree in Computer Science
- A Masters Public Administration or related discipline and/or interest in working in a nonprofit.
- Experience working with databases and data sets.
- Experience with Excel and Outlook.
- Preference for those candidates with online research, Salesforce CRM, and/or other biographical data research databases.
