We are seeking a talented and motivated Financial Analyst Summer Intern with a strong interest in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) analysis and research. The intern will play a key role in supporting our finance team in various tasks including financial modeling, board deck compilation, and creditor compliance reporting. This full-time internship is located at our Provo, Utah office.
This is a 12 week, full-time, paid internship (typically beginning of May-end of July).
Responsibilities include:
Conduct research and analysis on potential M&A opportunities within the pest control industry, including market research, financial statement analysis, and valuation modeling.
Assist in the preparation of financial models in Excel to support M&A analysis, investment decision-making, and strategic planning.
Compile and organize information for board presentations and assist in the creation of PowerPoint decks for executive and board meetings.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with creditor reporting requirements, including gathering necessary financial data and preparing reports.
Provide support on ad hoc financial analysis projects and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate finance program or related business major.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Prior internship or coursework related to finance, M&A, or investment analysis is a plus.
