HackMIT is one of the largest undergraduate hackathons in the world, bringing in over 1000 talented participants to work on amazing and innovative technology projects. This year, it will take place Saturday, September 16 to Sunday, September 17 on MIT campus, and we would love to have you as one of our mentors or judges!
As a mentor, you would help guide our hackers work through the technical problems they hope to solve throughout their hackathon journey. Mentors will select shifts during which they will respond to hackers? help requests, ranging from industry-specific questions to helping beginners build their first web app.
As a judge, you would be responsible for viewing live project demos and selecting the most innovative and impactful projects from our HackMIT 2023 submissions on Sunday, September 17th, tentatively from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm EDT. Our judges will also be required to attend a mandatory orientation session on Sunday, September 17th at 11:00 am EDT to familiarize themselves with our judging criteria and platform.
Mentors and judges will receive the full benefits of being at the hackathon–including food, swag, and access to workshops, techtalks, and companies.
Undergraduate students are not eligible to apply, but if you?re an undergraduate, consider applying to be a hacker <https://streaklinks.com/BjW_1iyu7uvFNNxZXAei2V8L/http%3A%2F%2Fmy.hackmit.org>!
