BAM Coding Challenge at MIT (apply by 9/1 for invite)

Candidates will access BAM’s opensource GitHub repository online, where they will find a curated set of trading and research problems.Each participant will be provided with a virtual machine instance to complete their solutions. The problems require candidates to manipulate data sets and apply mathematical and statistical analysis to solve challenges reflective of those encountered at BAM.Participants may use any programming language of their choice. The challenge will take approximately 70 minutes to complete. Participants must have their own Github.com account and bring their own personal laptops.Only Wi-Fi access is required; no additional university infrastructure or software is needed. Upon completion, solutions are submitted online. BAM’s team will review submissions and identify top performers.Eligibility: This event is invite-only for students graduating between December 2027 and May 2028 who are seeking software engineering internship opportunities.Timeline: Please apply for the challenge by 5pm ET on Tuesday, September 1.
