We’re looking for a file clerk to join our Crash Reporting Team in Salem! In this role, you will receive, sort and maintain the accident report filing system to assist our DMV customers. A day in the life:
- Receive, sort and file crash report files including correspondence regarding the case, accident and police reports, administrative hearing orders and more.
- Create and maintain logs and tracking tools for files being pulled and copied.
- Enter data into Excel logs to track the status of files.
- Track, search, locate and provide feedback to management related to missing files.
- Purge accident files from the unit’s filing cabinets annually.
- Assist with on the job training of other unit personnel.
- Work in a standard office environment which includes the frequent use of office equipment.

Minimum qualifications:
One year of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
OR
An equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.

- Experience with handling, filing, stapling, transporting and scanning paper documents.
