The new video The Uprising from MIT Press about Women in Science is inspiring and tells the story of differential treatment of men and women on the MIT faculty in the 1990s. Featuring a group of sixteen women faculty members who took steps to make science more diverse and equitable at MIT. At minute seven of the short film, pay equity becomes a focus. Thank to these fabulous sixteen women faculty for taking a stand. And thank you to all who ensure equal pay for equal work, your work today makes a difference for future generations.
