Career Services Quick Queries
We offer quick queries for resume or cover letter reviews and to answer shorter career questions. These 15-minute meetings with a Career Advising & Professional Development staff member take place in E17-294. This service is available to all MIT students.
Quick query spots become available to schedule on CareerBridge one week prior. A small number of spots will become available at 9am the day of. (No drop-in appointments will be available.)

Career Services Appointments
Schedule career appointments year-round for in-depth discussions about your future plans. This might include self-assessment, career exploration, internship or job search strategies, resume/cover letter or other professional document reviews, mock interviews, networking strategies, negotiation, and more. Resume/cover letter appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, while all others are 50 minutes long. Call or email to set up a video or telephone appointment. To schedule an appointment:
- Log into CareerBridge and click "Advising"
- Schedule in person at the E17-294 reception desk

Drop-ins are held during the school year every Tuesday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in E17-294. There are no Prehealth Advising drop-ins during IAP and the summer. Use drop-ins for quicker questions (15 minutes).
Schedule prehealth appointments for general prehealth needs, essay critiques or practice interviews. Call 617-715-5328 to schedule an in-person, video or phone appointment (generally 30-60 minutes). Call in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you are 15 minutes late for an appointment, you will need to reschedule. For essay critique appointments, you should send your essay 24 hours prior to your appointment to the assigned counselor. For critiques via email, send a Word document version (no PDFs) to firstname.lastname@example.org. Reviewed essays should be returned within 3-4 days.
