Biography
R. Erich Caulfield is the Founder and President of The Caulfield Consulting Group (TCCG) and a former White House official with a distinguished career spanning the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. A Baton Rouge, LA native and MIT graduate, he previously served as the New Orleans Federal Team Lead for the Obama White House’s Strong Cities, Strong Communities (SC2) Initiative, where he led an interagency team embedded in the Mayor’s Office. He was also appointed by President Barack Obama as a White House Fellow, advising on domestic policy, and served as Chief Policy Advisor to former Newark Mayor Cory Booker. Erich holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, as well as a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from Morehouse College, and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the MIT Board of Trustees.
