Bio
Alex Mozdzanowska is the Chief People Officer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems. With more than 15 years of experience delivering results in corporate leadership roles, she is charged with creating and executing CFS’s worldwide human capital strategy that will make commercial fusion a reality for the first time in history. She has built a high-performance team of People Operations and Talent Acquisition professionals to support our growing team of over 600 employees and contractors.
Prior to joining CFS, Alex held roles at Aurora Flight Sciences where she was Deputy Program Manager of an autonomous helicopter project, then Director of Operations, and finally the VP of HR. She also worked at MIT as a project and program manager and later as the Director of Operations of MIT Sandbox. She also directed growth efforts at startup Hopper.
Alex has a PhD in Engineering Systems from MIT (2008), Masters in Aerospace (2004) and dual undergrad degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Literature (2002).
