Part-Time Administrative Assistant II – Economic Development & Planning Department

The Town is seeking a candidate in the Economic Development & Planning Department to perform a range of administrative, technical, and data entry functions, including financial tasks and recordkeeping associated with the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Responsibilities also include providing effective and tactful customer service to a wide array of callers and visitors to the department, including the general public, vendors, and other Town departments; maintaining highly confidential information and carrying out tasks in compliance with pertinent federal, state and local rules and regulations.
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), have an aptitude for numbers and details, and possess excellent organizational skills. Must have proficient written and oral communication skills, work independently, and be self-motivated.
Associate’s Degree in office administration, business or related field preferred. Minimum, three (3) to five (5) years of experience in financials, grants, data entry, payroll or office administration; or an equivalent combination of education, and experience.
The salary for this full-time benefit eligible, 37.5 hour per week position is $20.66 per hour.
