Replate manages the food donations of caterers, offices with meal services, brands with product overrun, farmers markets, restaurants and other surplus food generators. Every food donation is taken to a nearby nonprofit that works with people experiencing food insecurity, or directly to someone’s home.
We are looking for a Data Science Intern to support Replate’s data department!
The Data Science Intern will work with our data scientists and engineers to support and improve data processes. You will work with key metrics that measure business growth and impact. This is an awesome opportunity to work with data, explore modern tools like Retool, grow in an agile environment, and gain experience in the intersection of tech-for-good and data science!
-Improve data integration from various sources with our database to streamline the process of gathering numbers and visuals for reports (Data engineering expertise is not required, but a plus!)
-Explore new tools to support data requests
-Fulfill data requests from various departments
-Driver utilization analysis: Analyze the relationship between driver utilization, number of available drivers, number of tasks, and tasks assigned to external logistics partners
-Proven SQL Knowledge
-Proven ability to write Python and Pandas Framework
-Knowledge of BI Tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
-Knowledge of ticketing tools (Jira, ClickUp, Asana)
-Eagerness to learn new technologies
Timing + Stipend: Full-time for IAP; between 120-160 hours. As part of the Social Impact Internship program, students may be eligible for a stipend of up to $2,000.
