Essential Functions: Primary responsibilities include supervision of professional level staff including Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, Interpreter Services, Interpreter Certification Resource Center (ICRC) and support staff in the provision of Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Services to Oklahomans who experience deafness or are hard of hearing. This position assigns and designates project leadership responsibilities to professional staff; conducts quarterly unit meetings and frequent office staff meetings in order to assess the effectiveness of programs and service delivery; evaluates workload of individual staff members to determine equitable balance and makes appropriate adjustments; provides proper interpretation of agency rules and policies, compiles and reviews periodic reports, conducts administrative audits, ensures ongoing CEU training and certification for interpreters, and implements controls to assure accountability.
Applicant must be willing to perform all job-related travel.

Preference may be given to applicants with current CRC or LPC credentials and with experience in counseling. This position also requires a full understanding of deaf culture and must be fluent in American Sign Language.
