A Recruitment Consultant’s job involves building and maintaining relationships, networking, market mapping, hunting talent (candidates) and business (clients), career matchmaking, sales and managing accounts. To build relationships, you will become educated within your market to become an advisor/ consultant within your recruitment space. You will be trained on how to utilize recruitment tools and communicate through various methods such as cold calling, emailing, client meetings, events and job adverts. To maintain relationships, you will be trained on how to best keep in touch with all the candidates and clients you develop within your pipeline over time. You will utilize the commercial knowledge you gain to market map different companies to enhance your talent hunting and business development approach. When placing a candidate into a client’s open role, you will refer to your network and learn best methods for negotiating contracts and closing deals. You will learn Account Management methods to properly maintain relationships with your clients to receive additional jobs when they become vacant.
Who You Are:
Successful Recruitment Consultants are career driven individuals with strong verbal and written communication skills. To build meaningful yet productive relationships, a Sales Consultant will have strong interpersonal skills, prioritization skills and a high level of emotional intelligence. A Recruitment Consultant should be resilient, hardworking, goal-oriented and ambitious. Previous exposure to a sales role/ sales internship or sales environment is preferred.
What We Offer:
LHi offers our Recruitment Consultants a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary, uncapped commission, medical, dental, health, life insurance and a 401k plan. You will be granted over 20 days of prorated vacation/sick days. For achieving performance targets, our international business offers monetary reward incentives, travel incentives, and team and office incentives.
