Position Overview
Kūlia Academy is seeking a passionate and forward-thinking AI & Data Science Teacher to lead engaging, hands-on learning experiences for middle and high school students.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making complex ideas accessible, guiding students through real-world applications, and building excitement around emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach AI and data science concepts through hands-on, project-based instruction
- Introduce students to topics such as data analysis, machine learning basics, and AI applications
- Design and facilitate real-world projects (e.g., data investigations, simple models, AI tools)
- Differentiate instruction based on student level and readiness
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate AI and data science across subjects
- Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Stay current with emerging tools and trends in AI and data science

Preferred Background (Flexible)
- Experience in data science, computer science, AI, or a related field
- Teaching experience or experience working with students is a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as Python, data visualization, or AI platforms is helpful, but not required
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience and impact

Schedule
- Full-time, 12-month position
- School hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Includes school breaks plus 3 weeks of vacation
