Helikon is a science and innovation consultancy focused on new biotechnologies. We partner with leaders in food, beauty, materials, and sustainability and bring together scientists from across disciplines (bioengineering, chemical engineering, cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, and biomedical science, among others) to work together on some of the most challenging problems in frontier biotech and high tech food.

Experience with scientific data analysis
BA/BS/MS/PhD in Natural Science, or closely related field (i.e. Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biophysics, Enzymology), ideally with experimental lab experience in Molecular Biology, Protein Engineering or computational protein modeling.
Strong communication skills – the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels including executive leadership, peers, managers, and junior team members
Excellent planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and able to work independently
Ability to work and thrive on a small team in a startup-like environment e.g. comfortable with ambiguity/shifting priorities
Team player with humility, a sense of humor, and the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing and fast paced environment
This position is located at the Helikon office in Cambridge, MA and may allow for some telecommuting (up to 1-2 days per week) at our discretion.
