Summer Internship Program:
At Danaher – one of our core values is “The Best Team Wins”. Interns with Danaher will be tasked to work on projects that deliver real results, and impact one of the many operating companies we operate. As an intern, you will assume responsibility on challenging projects and see them through from strategy to implementation. Each internship assignment is a 12-week program that also includes one week of DBS training as well as exposure to Kaizen practices and principals. The program culminates with a report-out presentation to a group of leaders and Executives from across the many operating companies and Danaher. Successful interns will be extended full time employment offers at the end of the summer.
Interns at Danaher will have the opportunity to excel across a number of functions and roles, below are the functions along with a high level overview of projects that have been completed in the past:
· Supply Chain
o Investigate, develop/modify and propose a new Material Shortage Report process, including Standard Work documents
· Operations Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical)
o Investigate, identify, compile, and present next generation manufacturing line including product flow, material storage, utilities supply, and site layout
- Undergraduate degree in engineering (industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, computer, software or biomedical)
- Undergraduate degree in business (supply chain) or related field of study
- Will have completed Sophomore or Junior years of study
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and leadership skills
