The Business Development team at D1 is responsible for all lead generation and marketing activity that aims to connect our world-class team with world-class ecommerce businesses. We’re seeking a Demand Generation Associate to help us enhance and execute the strategies and programs that ensure a strong and continuous pipeline of potential acquisition opportunities. This is an opportunity for a creative, curious, and versatile individual to take an outsized role in a critical function at a rapidly growing startup. This full-time position reports directly into the Director of Business Development.
Assist in the continued development and refinement of our overall demand generation strategy
Maintain and enhance existing demand generation programs and initiatives while working with your team to develop, pilot, and scale new ones
Assist in the creation and distribution of content for our website, social media accounts, and other multi-channel marketing activities including live events
Analyze demand gen datasets to identify actionable insights aimed at strengthening our pipeline
Preferred Background & Capabilities
3+ years of experience with inbound and outbound marketing strategies (email, referral, social media, SEM, conferences / events, direct mail, PR, etc.)
Experience with HubSpot (preferable) or other CRM platforms
Ability to work independently to manage small to medium-sized projects from planning to execution
Experience with SEM, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, and prospecting platforms
Detail-oriented with outstanding written and verbal communication
Exceptional excel / data analytics capabilities
Social media management experience a plus
