Job Description:
As a Summer Analyst, you will support the Investment Team in sourcing, qualifying, evaluating and engaging new deal opportunities for Aldrich. You will be directly involved in outreach efforts to potential investment targets, speaking to entrepreneurs/CEO’s about their businesses and working daily with the Aldrich team to move opportunities forward. Beyond sourcing and company evaluation, you will receive frequent training on key qualitative and quantitative analysis, including deal structuring, competitor and market diligence, and venture-specific financial modeling.
Throughout the experience, you will be supported by an analyst and the broader Investment Team, whose goal in mind is to equip you with a full private equity/growth equity experience, from sourcing to deal execution. At the completion of the Summer, you will be able to successfully identify, source, and converse with prospective investment targets and apply learnings from various industry and financial trainings to provide sound investment recommendations as it pertains to Aldrich’s thesis.
The opportunity to provide recommendations rooted in the analytical skills you will gain throughout the Summer is a rare experience. You will sit, work, and discuss targets with several senior management members, who have spent 20+ years as both investors and entrepreneurs. Proximity to the team and senior management as a young professional is highly important for development – this concept is one we recognize and will be a daily norm while at Aldrich.
