Internship Overview
Nasdaq’s Summer Internship Program provides opportunities for students to gain hands-on software engineering experience over 10 weeks with Nasdaq’s AI Platforms Team. You will:
- Work on strategic projects, partner with mentors, and engage with senior leaders.
- Gain technical & team collaboration skills that will help shape your career for years to come.
- Participate in technology and business workshops throughout the summer.
Note: The program is geared to rising Juniors, rising Seniors, and graduate students.
Duration: June 3 – August 9. 10-weeks, full-time.
Location: Nasdaq’s Boston office. Note: Interns will work in the office at least (3) days per week
Salary: Participants receive competitive salaries
Skills Desired:
- Knowledge of full-stack software engineering principles (front-end and/or back-end)
- Proficiency with Python. Knowledge of other languages helpful
- General NLP and/or Machine Learning exposure would be helpful
- Some exposure to Amazon Bedrock or Large Language Models would be helpful
- Experience or exposure with building applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other Cloud platforms
- Experience or knowledge of Single Page application development with React JS
- Experience working with databases & data (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is helpful
- Ability to learn new skills & technologies quickly + communicate/work effectively with others
