Responsibilities:
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the following job duties:
(1) Develop designs that solve for client needs, including exploration of options, investigation of existing conditions, review and evaluation of details, administration of the construction process, and ultimately recommendation of design solutions;
(2) As a team member, support the efforts of the design team on large complex projects. This may extend to include planning, design, and coordination of consultant efforts;
(3) Provide design leadership and technical support to junior architects and architectural staff; and
(4) Carry out assignments that involve new program types, construction techniques, or management approaches.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Employer requires a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field and two (2) years of work experience as an architect. (please note that experience as an unlicensed architect is acceptable). Licensure is not required for this position.
In addition, the employer requires demonstrated experience as a project manager in an architectural setting gained through two (2) years of work experience.
All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
