Seeking a motivated individual to join a dynamic Manufacturing Engineering team. Gain hands-on experience working with experienced inter-disciplinary professionals. The successful candidate will be technically capable, curious, introspective, meticulous, and focused.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, validate, and implement electronic device and software systems for manufacturing processes.
- Cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, research and development, working on high value projects that have an impact on product reliability.
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical system issues on the production floor.
- Participate in root cause investigation and analysis for product applications.
- Support the creation of documentation for investigative reports, testing protocols, and parts specifications.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field, from an ABET accredited university program.
- Understanding of Circuit theory, working knowledge to read schematics, system wiring diagrams, perform data acquisition and statistical analysis.
- Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, and effective communicator.
- Experience using hand tools, breadboard, benchtop test measurement equipment, and Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is required.
- Experience with statistical analysis software and embedded electronics systems is a plus. An interest in software development is beneficial.
