The PhD & Postdoc Career Night is an in-person event on Thursday, March 16, 2023. You may view the employer map here.
This career night is a unique opportunity designed specifically for MIT doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows and associates. The goal is to bring these candidates together with employers specifically looking to hire those holding or completing advanced degrees, and the advanced skills and knowledge that comes with them. The event is comprised of two components.
First, candidates are invited to attend alumni career panels from 4pm – 6:30pm. Second, candidates are invited to an evening of networking from 6:30pm – 8:30pm in MIT’s Welcome Center with employers from a wide variety of industries and fields. Candidates may also receive the opportunity to engage in coffee chats with employers the following day.
Upon arrival, candidates will need to have their MIT IDs in physical form, or be prepared to enter their MIT ID number into Handshake at check-in.

Employers approved to attend will need to be hiring for positions requiring an advanced degree that have a start date of no later than September 2023.
Harvard partnership: The PhD & Postdoc Career Night is pleased to open attendance to Harvard students in PhD programs who would like to connect with employers. A limited number of spaces (25) are available for Harvard students at the career night. In order to participate, please submit a resume through Harvard by Monday March 6, 2023.
