IAP Micro-internships are in Handshake – Apply now!

Looking for a short-term project or internship over IAP? Consider a micro-internship! Build skills, connect with employers and explore a career path. Here are a few micro-internships:

Micro-internships are listed in Handshake and it’s really easy to search for them.  Simply log into Handshake, select Jobs -> Filters (top left of screen) -> and scroll down to Labels and type “micro-internships”. Another option is to select Jobs and type the keyword “micro-intern” in the search box.

Additional positions will be posted in the coming weeks, so we recommend saving your search preferences in Handshake or checking back regularly for new opportunities

Many applications are due in early to mid October, so apply as soon as possible. CAPD can help you through the micro-internship application process. Schedule an appointment for help updating your resume, writing a cover letter or preparing for an interview.

Reminder: If you’re an undergraduate or graduate international student hired for a micro-internship, you must receive off-campus work authorization (CPT, OPT, or AT) before you can begin the experience.

Want to learn more about micro-internships? Attend the Micro-internships Information Session happening on Tuesday Sept. 23rd @ 6pm. Register here!
