Join a panel of MIT alumni to hear their advice on navigating the transition from the university environment to starting a new job, and how to set yourself up for success in your career progression. Potential discussion topics include: -Making a good first impression -Navigating company culture and determining priorities -Understanding performance reviews and promotion criteria -Addressing gender biases in the workplace and gaps in recognition and promotion opportunities This workshop is open to all MIT students and postdocs. Registration required via Handshake. We hope to create a space where those identifying as women can share their thoughts and concerns about navigating a new work environment. Come prepared with questions! After a few starter questions from moderators, the session will be open to questions from the audience.
